This vital role will contact military veterans, and qualify leads for our Loan Officers.   • Complete outbound calls
  • Answer inbound calls
  • Data entry into a CRM system

We’re looking for a highly motivated, self-starter with big financial goals to join our team. We specialize in VA loans and work exclusively with Veterans. This position has the potential for serious financial gain because of our commission pay scale.

Low VA Rates is a growing mortgage company and is seeking a full-time accountant who will work closely with the CFO and Controller.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities of the Assistant Controller will include:

  • Supervise and review daily accounting operations
  • Establish and maintain our name brand awareness and online presence through social media
  • Perform daily inputs and reconciliations of various accounts with credit facilities in excess of $100M
  • Provide input on better financial controls and processes
  • Assist with annual audit by outside CPA firm
  • Help implement new accounting system built upon Microsoft Dynamics NAV (converting from QuickBooks)
  • Develop and track budgets for various departments

Qualifications

Job Description

A Disclosure Specialist will analyze fees based on loan type and loan program to issue complaint loan disclosures in residential real estate lending transactions. The Disclosure Specialist will have the ability to ensure timely delivery and that loan(s) have been disclosed in accordance with state, federal and investor regulations.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities for the Compliance Disclosure Specialist II will include:

  • Ensure loans are disclosed or re-disclosed in a timely manner and in compliance with state, federal, investor and company regulations
  • Disclose loans within posted turn times utilizing the ‘3 Day’ work queue ensuring delivery within 3 days of loan application date (excluding weekends and holidays
  • Complete compliance review to ensure loan meets ATR/QM, RESPA, TILA, TRID, HPML, ATR/QM, MDIA, HUD, VA, USDA and investor guidelines for fee compliance
  • Review and complete Change of Circumstance/Re-disclosure requests within posted turn times

Required Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of ATR/QM, RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, MDIA, HPML and investor guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage banking, emphasizing loan programs requirements, disclosures and legal requirements
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Knowledge of personal computers and applicable software. (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook)

Experience Required

  • Two years Customer Service experience
