For the next 90 days, the military and veterans of Virginia will be honored during the Virginia Military Appreciation Promotion with discounts on VA home loans.

During World War II, Virginia troops made up a large portion of the 29th Infantry Division that was ultimately the first unit to land troops in Normandy.
