VA RATES on the RISE
1/24/2007
Interest rates across the country have stayed relatively low over the past 6 months, however it appears that we may start to see a rise in mortgage rates going forward. If you are a VA home-owner and have been thinking about refinancing your mortgage THEN DO NOT wait any longer. "We have seen a large amount of 'fence sitters' in the past who are all rushing to refinance now before it is too late. Way too many veteran home buyers or owners have been under the impression that rates would be falling soon, however, it now appears they may be rising very fast." Jed Hardman, VA Loan Officer.
Interest rates change up and down and the tricky part is timing yourself just right. To some veteran home owners it is kind of like the new game show Deal or No Deal, and unfortunately a lot of times it is no deal at the beginning as veteran mortgage holders think they are going to get a "better deal" if they wait and then all of the sudden it is TOO Late and the initial deal would have been the BEST ONE.
Veteran home owners please act fast as now is still a great time to take advantage of historically low rates. For questions or help getting your refinance done with one of our Approved Lenders just go to the prequalification button on our site!
