Texas Military Appreciation & VA Loan Promotion

(LEHI, Utah, April 16, 2009) – For the next 90 days, the military and veterans of Texas will be honored during the Texas Military Appreciation Promotion with discounts on VA home loans.
LowVARates also officially declared April 16th – 20th Texas Military Appreciation Week. The week gives the nation a change to honor and celebrate the valuable history of Texas military.

The militia was officially organized in 1823 and many years after the militia was created they became known as the “Texas Rangers.” The main purpose of the “Texas Rangers” was to protect locals from attacks from Indians.
Today, Texas is still a huge part of the nation’s military force. Hundreds to thousands of troops from Texas help protect our freedoms by fulfilling deployments around the world.
