Ten lucky military families are receiving free full scale home security systems, courtesy of LowVARates.com.

In Association with National Advocates for Military Families (NAMF), LowVARates.com is providing home security systems to military families with deployed spouses to help protect our soldiers loved ones.

According to Pentagon data, since September 11, 2001, well over 1 million soldiers nationwide have been deployed.  Approximately 63 percent of the U.S. Army have gone to war at least once, and close to 90 percent of U.S. Marines have fought. (Found at:  http://www.globalsecurity.org )

These staggering numbers underline the necessity and obligation to help secure the loved ones of the valiant men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

LowVARates.com owner, Eric Kandell, understands the hardships that can come from military families living with a deployed spouse.

“Life can be very difficult for families with a deployed spouse,” Kandell said.  “Military families across the nation are forced to live without their spouses, making home security a major issue.”

NAMF recently moved corporate offices to relocate in Lehi, Utah. The move was coordinated and in conjunction with a partnership with LowVARates.com.  Kandell was recently added to NAMF’s board of directors and looks to play a big role in helping the nonprofit organization thrive.

“It was really a no-brainer to get involved with NAMF.” Kandell said.  “We always look for chances to show our support to military families and found a great opportunity through NAMF.”

The partnership hopes to raise enough money to completely protect deployed military families across the nation.  

“We are very excited to be working with LowVARates.com,” said Fundraising Director of NAMF, Bryce Anderson.  “Hopefully we can have more of an effect on military families and a broader nationwide reach with the new partnership.”

NAMF and LowVARates.com are planning a series of charitable events to help raise money for military families and provide the public opportunities to show support for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.  These events include a Comedy Show and Charity Golf Tournament.
