$2,500 Military College Scholarship

LowVARates.com presents a semiannual $1,250 college scholarship to a deserving military student. The money will come in two increments during the fall and winter semesters of each year.  The company is currently accpeting applicants for the 2012 winter semester college scholarship.

How To Apply?

For the $1,250 Fall 2013 Semester Scholarship, please fill out our online application.  Once you have completed the application please email it to pr@lowvarates.com

Who Can Enter?

Military students currently enrolled in college may also enter the contest and there is no age requirement for the college scholarship applicants.

Children with a mother or father serving in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to apply for the college scholarship.

When Is The Deadline to Enter?

We are now accepting applicants for the 2013 fall semester scholarship. All entries must be submitted by Monday July 1, 2013 at midnight.  The winning applicant will be selected Friday July 5, 2013.  Submit your essay to pr@lowvarates.com

Can anyone nominate an applicant?

Yes.  The applicant, family member or friend can submit the 200 word essay to pr@lowvarates.com.  However, the online application still must be completed to apply for the military scholarship.  If the person nominating wants to nominant a potential applicant witout their knowledge, the person nominating should complete the online application for the potential nominee.
 

Do I Have To Currently Be Enrolled In School To Qualify?

No.  The scholarship may be used during anytime of the school calendar in the year the applicant is awarded the scholarship.  However, the winning $1,250 prize can ONLY be used towards tuition or books at an accredited college or university.
